Local heating system
at the Rheinmetall site
St. Leon Rot

On 28 November 2024, KS Gleitlager GmbH inaugurated an innovative waste and local heating system at its St. Leon-Rot site with representatives from politics, administration and the regional economy. By installing the system, the company will reduce its CO₂ emissions by up to 800 tonnes per year in future. You can also read the corresponding press release from Rheinmetall AG here.

The project was realised under the management of CEIH GmbH.
